I am Jack Hackett, an Atlanta transplant in Los Angeles. I currently majoring in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California. I have been making movies since I was seven years old, but that doesn’t mean what I make is any good. That just means I have experience in making garbage for at least 14 years.

My goal is to make comedy features and TV for a living. However, the dream is to make action-comedies, but those take a little bit more cash to make, so comedies right now are perfectly fine. To reach this comedy goal, I have made many comedy shorts. I also am the Editor-in-Chief for USC’s satirical publication, The Sack of Troy; a Senior Producer for USC’s Weekend Update style show, The Breakdown; and the President of USC’s comedy club, US Comedians. For comedy education I am taking comedy writing and directing classes at USC as well as sketch and improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
